The Factory Race Series upgrade kit for the ’21-23 F-150 4wd is designed to take the truck’s renowned off-road performance to the next level by adding significant adjustability and improved cooling efficiency without compromising every day ride quality.

Patented Internal Bypass technology allows for multiple zones of damping control. The result is a comfortable, confident ride with increased damping force through rough terrain. Internal bypass shocks produce more force progressively to control hard bottom-outs, prevent harsh top-outs, and provide an initial catch for landing. Shock fluid bypasses the main piston through a series of bleed holes in the ride zone. As the shock extends past the ride zone in rebound or compression, the bleed holes terminate, forcing fluid through the main piston.

A Recirculating Reservoir Bridge enables continuous exchange of shock fluid between the finned external piggyback reservoir and body using checked ports, keeping shock temperatures cool for better performance. Type III anodization prevents corrosion and wear of the 3-inch diameter aluminum bodies. The DSC adjuster allows you to dial in your F-150 for load, environment, and driving style.

An easy way to add a bypass shock to our Ford Raptor long-travel kit is with our pre-made weld-on mounts. It’s laser cut and formed and fully MIG welded ready to go. It locates off the top of the OEM coil bucket and then mounts the frame rails for maximum attachment & strength. This is designed for our custom FOX or King 3.5 bypass shocks with the proper tube layout, valving, dimensions and piggyback res. We’ve spent extensive time testing getting these shocks dialed in for our kit. We cerakote the FOX’s gray  to match their coilovers which is a high performance ceramic coating used in FOX’s trophy truck race shocks. We supply aircraft AN bolts for the upper and lower shock mounts that have the proper grip/shoulder length for maximum strength. We also include bolt-on brackets to relocate the brake lines at the frame for proper clearance and routing.

Adding a bypass shock to our long-travel kit adds a ton more control and bottoming resistance since they are position sensitive. This allows for a soft plush ride through the small stuff that doesn’t bottom out easily through the bigger hits and g-outs. You’re able to tune the shock by adjusting the compression and rebound adjusters to really dial in the ride based on how you’re driving it.

Bypass mounts come raw as they need to be welded on. We recommend spraying them with black Steel-IT after welding.
