    Looking for the best? Our Camburg TIG shackles replace the stock light-duty version your 10-14 Ford Raptor or 09-14 F-150 is equipped with from the factory. The stock shackles are stamped out of thin metal and use a rubber bushing which both allow for a flexy component that also binds as it cycles since the rubber bushings are vulcanized into the shackle.

    Our TIG shackles are a fabricated boxed gusseted design from 4130 chromoly  that is much stronger than mild steel and use polyurethane bushings that pivot smoother with less flex. We TIG weld them, bead blast the surfaces then powdercoat them our trademark Camburg steel gray color. They are  ready to be bolted on using the factory hardware. These are available in a stock length, so they do not raise or lower the ride height or an 1.5″ extended version that will lower the ride height about 1″. Both are designed for stock and Deaver leaf springs, the “stock length” versions do not work with icon leaf springs.

    Our extended shackle is designed around using Deaver leaf springs but can also be used with stock springs. We’ve updated the design to a fully boxed/sealed version so they don’t have the dimple dies.

    These are longer length  than the stock shackles and allow for maximum wheel travel. Using polyurethane bushings keeps them from deflecting under articulation like the stock ones and also allows them to pivot smoother and unrestricted. The stock shackles are too short and limit droop. These are 1.5″ longer than stock. Since the shackles are longer, they will lower the ride height compared to the stock shackles. These fit the OEM 3″ wide leaf springs (3.50″ w/ bushings).

    On Bronco’s you need to clearance the body seam behind the shackle to it doesn’t hit it on compression unless you use a drop hanger which will raise the ride height back up.

    These are laser cut from 4130 chromoly, CNC formed, TIG welded then bead blasted and powdercoated Camburg steel gray.

    These shackles are 6″ eye to eye in length.

    You can easily lift the rear of your Tundra with our 1.5 lift shackles. Not only are they longer than stock to give you the lift you’re looking without stiffening the ride, but are built considerably stronger too. The stock shackles are just stamped out of thin metal and bolted together allowing for quite a bit of unwanted flex.

    Our Camburg shackles are laser cut from thick 3/8″ steel and have a welded in gusset bridging the side plates together to eliminate flex. We powdercoat them wrinkle black and supply new metric bolts and hardware to bolt right into the factory mounts. These measure 6″ bolt to bolt center in length, the stock shackles measure 4″. When using these with the stock leaf springs you may need to grind the serrated teeth on the leaf spring pivot sleeves so it slips into our shackle.

    These shackles are also needed when running Deaver’s K-37 or U-748 leaf spring packs as the stock shackle is too short in length.

    When installing, have the M14 bolts with the lock nuts to the outside on both sides and you will re-use the upper sleeve in the frame pivot bushings. Orientate the shackle like pictured above so that the center gusset clears the frame as it swings back.
