Our bolt-on bedcage for the 2017-2020 Raptor is an easy way to install bypass shocks on a long-travel leaf spring setup for maximum wheel travel and control. It’s also the most complete, strongest and thought out bedcage out on the market.

We CAD designed the bedcage to bolt together to ease assembly and make it easier to ship. Our design also yields maximum useable bed space by having the bedcage structure outside the frame rails. That’s a huge benefit for prerunners and Overland/Trail setups needing room for tool bins, jack, spare tires, etc. We’re able to do this by including new frame mounts for the front and the rear mounts of the bedcage tie into our 2.5 bump stop kit (not included). Doing all this also adds a ton of strength to the rear frame. We have the tubing and plate work laser cut and CNC bent for the utmost precision. They are MIG welded in-house, sandblasted then powdercoated in our matte gray Raptor finish. Also included are longer stainless/kevlar rear brake lines which also improve braking and pedal feel.

We supply stronger & more expensive NAS & AN aircraft bolts that have specific grip/shoulder lengths for the majority of the mounting locations and shock mounts.

We designed the bedcage around using a FOX 3.5 to 4.4 x 16″ or King 3.5 to 4.5 x 16″ travel bypass shocks in conjunction with our Camburg 2.5 bump stop kit kit for the proper motion ratios and fitment. You will need a specific bypass tube layout for proper clearances. This yields up to 18″ of wheel travel. When using other brand shocks, the compressed length can not be longer than 27.95″. The FOX/King shocks we offer are custom and have been tuned specifically for our long-travel suspension setup and are setup with larger 1″ bypass tubes for optimum flow. We also have the FOX’s cerakoted gray which is a high performance ceramic coating used in FOX’s trophy truck race shocks to match the front coilovers.

We recommend Deaver leaf springs and our extended length shackles with this for maximum wheel travel. Deaver has many leaf spring setups to match your use and needed load capacity.

We highly recommend a qualified off-road shop installing these race parts. You will need to cut holes in the bed for the bedcage and shocks to pass through. Some minor drilling/grinding is required to mount the bedcage to the frame. Even though we designed this to be bolt-on, you can also weld some of the components for added attachment & strength.

We CAD designed the bedcage to bolt together to ease assembly and make it easier to ship. We have the tubing and plate work laser cut and CNC bent for the utmost precision. They are MIG welded in-house, sandblasted then powdercoated in our matte black finish.

We designed the bedcage around using FOX 2.5 to 3.0 x 16″ travel bypass shocks in conjunction with Deaver’s U-182 leaf springs with our extended length shackles for the proper motion ratios and fitment. You will need a specific bypass tube layout for proper clearances. This yields up to 16″ of wheel travel. When using other brand shocks, the compressed length can not be longer than 26.43″. You can also use this bedcage with spring-under conversions to yield more wheel travel with custom lower shock tabbing. Depending on your shock, wheel and tire combo you may also need 1.5″-2″ hub-centric wheel spacers for added clearance between the tire and the shock.

The bedcage locates off of the front leaf spring pivots for proper positioning and only requires you to drill four new 3/8″ bolt holes per side for the rear supports. Since the frame is boxed, you’ll need to use a 1.5″ hole saw and drill an access hole/port to get a wrench on the nuts. We give you a plug/cover to seal it up after.

We supply all the necessary grade 8 mounting hardware. We also supply you the lower shock mounts that mount on top of the leaf springs and capture the u-bolts .We recommend a qualified off-road shop installing these parts. You will need to cut holes in the bed for the bedcage and shocks to pass through.

    • Fits single-cab, double-cab and crew-cab models
    • Bolts together for easier installation
    • For maximum wheel travel

Our bolt-on bedcage for the 2005-2023 Tacoma is an easy way to install bypass shocks on a long-travel leaf spring setup for maximum wheel travel.

We CAD designed the bedcage to bolt together to ease assembly and make it easier to ship. We have the tubing and plate work laser cut and CNC bent for the utmost precision. They are MIG welded in-house, sandblasted then powdercoated in our matte black finish.

We designed the bedcage around using 2.5 to 3.0 x 16″ travel bypass shocks in conjunction with our Camburg spring under kit for the proper motion ratios and fitment. You will need a specific bypass tube layout for proper clearances. This yields up to 18″ of wheel travel. It locates off of exiting holes in the frame for proper positioning. We supply all the necessary grade 8 mounting hardware. We designed this bedcage to maximize useable bed space and keep it a low profile.

We highly recommend a qualified off-road shop installing these race parts. You will need to cut holes in the bed for the bedcage and shocks to pass through. Some minor drilling/grinding is required to mount the bedcage to the frame. You will also need to cycle the suspension and setup lower shock mounts that will require welding and minor fab work. We do not supply lower shock tabs as these will vary depending on the shock brand and size you’re using. Depending on your wheel and tire combo you may also need 1.5″-2″ hub-centric wheel spacers for added clearance between the tire and the shock.

Combine this with our bolt-on air bump mounts for the ultimate rear suspension kit out there.

When a shock going through the bed is not an option, our performance shock mount kit is the solution. We yield maximum wheel travel and control using specific FOX or King  2.5 or 3.0 bypass shocks. You will need a specific bypass tube layout for proper clearances. We developed and tested this setup out on the trails in Moab, Utah to the sand dunes in Glamis, CA and everything in between, all while being used as a daily driver. No other bolt-in shock will give you the comfort, control and articulation this kit delivers. The shocks we sell are custom built and valved specific for this kit; there’s more to them than just tube locations. We also offer a FOX 3.0 smooth body shock for a lower cost option while still getting the wheel travel and damping from a bigger 3.0 shock.

The powdercoated upper shock mount bolts to the frame using a pre-existing hole for proper placement and you will need to drill some additional holes in the frame. The lower shock mounts need to be welded to the housing, so minor fab work is involved along with cycling the rear suspension and removing the factory shock mounts. We suggest an off-road shop installing this, if you’re not familiar with welding/grinding/cutting and suspension cycling. The factory upper and lower shock mounts will need to be removed. We designed this kit to be used with Deaver K-37 or U-748 springs or the equivalent and our bolt-on bump stop kit for the ultimate undercover setup. We also highly recommend using our extended length rear brake line kit for maximum wheel travel.

When we designed our spring-under kit for the 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma’s we wanted to take the guess work out and make a kit that’s easier to install. We did this by designing the front and rear spring hangers to bolt to the frame using the existing holes used by the factory mounts that are riveted on. Our mounts are considerably stronger than weld-on versions and we incorporated tabbing on the rear mounts for a x-member or fuel cell cradle for even more strength.

We spent a lot of time with Deaver Spring designing leaf springs for optimum wheel travel and performance. We offer two different springs based on how you’re building your truck. We offer a “prerunner” and a “race” spring setup based on the load capacity needed. One spring doesn’t work for everyone.

This race and BITD 7100 class championship winning kit has been used over the years on serious prerunners and race trucks in the deserts of California and as far as the Dakar rally. A limited travel variation of this kit was also used on the 2017 Tacoma we raced in the 2017 Mint 400 in the 7300 class.

This suspension kit is for the serious builder/enthusiast  and is intended to be used with a bed cage and 2.5-3.0 x 16-18″ travel shocks through the bed along with FOX or King bump stops. Their is quite a bit of work involved with installing these parts and is not an entry level install.

This is for the serious off-roader. We designed this kit to be used with our bed cage system for maximum useable wheel travel. For the most part this kit bolts on but there is minor fab work and welding involved. The benefits of going spring-under with the leaf springs is more wheel travel, faster rebound and articulation from a leaf spring pack that has more arch without lifting the rear too much, a more progressive design for better bottoming control and reduced axle wrap.
