Description
Our coilover engine cage is built from 1.50″ thick .188w 4130 chromoly tubing and welds onto the frame in three locations for maximum strength. It has a x-brace that bolts in to eliminate flexing over the engine. Our mounts locate of of pre existing bolts/holes in the frame for placement.
We designed this for our 4.5″ & 6.5″ wider 2wd i-beams and 4″ wider 4wd TTB housings. This will not work with stock width suspension. Designed for a 2.5 x 14″ Sway-Away coilovers or 2.5 x 12″ FOX/King coilovers with 300/450 springs. Comes raw, un-powdercoated. Some models require battery being relocated and the stock airbox system removed. The airbox/airfilter needs to be towards the front of the engine, not off to the side. We also recommend better engine mounts from AutoFab. We highly recommend a qualified off-road shop installing this with the amount of cutting/grinding/welding/setup involved.
These are made to order and take 5-6 weeks minimum to build once an order is placed with a 50% deposit.
