The Superlite 6R caliper series is the benchmark in asphalt short track, late model, modified and open wheel competition. It also enjoys prominence in a variety of road-race, rally and sport driving applications. The new FSL6R model series is the latest innovation to this Superlite family of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allow differential bore models to have a left hand and right hand orientation, but no leading or trailing configuration is required.

The FSL6R has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allow differential bore models to have a left hand and right hand orientation, but no leading or trailing configuration is required. The most noteworthy feature of all the FSL6R caliper models is the exceptional strength and reduced weight of the forging. With assembled weights just at 4.4 pounds, the caliper body design in itself is a product of computer generated solid modeling and stress analysis technology. Each caliper features closed end bridges with a radial transition down to the main body and piston bore housings. The elimination of machined steps and sharp shoulders in this critical area provides a measurable increase in overall body strength and resistance to deflection under load. Every FSL6R body is stress-flow forged from a premium grade aluminum alloy billet.

  • Requires #250-6309 radial caliper mounting bracket (3.5″ mounting spread)
  • These are for 13″-14″ diameter brake rotors only

The new Aero6-ST forged six piston caliper delivers heavy duty stopping power for the road or track. The caliper incorporates race technology into a body design with widespread adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple options for piston volume, and a rotor diameter ranging from 13″ to 14.00″ give this caliper the versatility necessary to suit all types of heavy weight braking requirements. The new Aero6-ST is the latest innovation to the W4A / W6A series of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes and massive center bridge assembly. Equipped with Thermlock piston technology and Wilwood’s Type III anodize. Aero6-ST calipers utilizing the new .80” thick 6620 pad plate, give extra pad life for high heat endurance racing.

The body of Aero series is stress-flow forged from a premium grade aluminum alloy billet. Stress-flow forging realigns the metal’s internal grain structure to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This process eliminates the stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block billet. The results are a caliper with superior clamping efficiency and ultimate strength against fatigue, stresses, and distortion under load.

  • Requires #250-14046 radial caliper mounting bracket (3.5″ mounting spread)
  • These are for 13″-14″ diameter brake rotors only

The Wilwood Superlite caliper series is the benchmark in short track, late model, modified and open wheel competition. It also enjoys prominence in a variety of road-race, off-road, rally and sport driving applications. The new FSLI model series is the latest innovation to this Superlite family of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes, along with any potential problems that could arise from a damaged tube. The transfer tube has been replaced with two additional bleed screw assemblies which allows this group of symmetrical piston bore models to be mounted either right or left in a leading or trailing position. Select the size caliper that matches your rotor thickness (0.81″ or 1.25″) and piston size (1.38″ or 1.75″) that works best with your master cylinder and brake pedal setup.

These are for 12″-13″ diameter brake rotors only. These all have the 3.5″ spread bolt pattern.

We stock a selection of brake rotors from both Wilwood and Coleman that we use with our various hub kits and on our KINETIK race trucks. Select the available sizes above for pricing. We can also custom order Wilwood or Coleman rotors that we don’t stock as well. Our most common bolt patterns are 8 on 7-5/8″ and 12 on 9.19″.

These are sold by the pair (1 left & 1 right)
